Park City School District teacher Renee Pinkney was elected by her public school teacher peers to serve a three-year term as vice president of the Utah Education Association. She was elected in a statewide vote of UEA-member educators held in February 2019.
Pinkney has taught in Utah schools for 24 years and has served as a member of the UEA Board of Directors representing the Eastern Utah UniServ for the past three years. She is a social studies teacher at Park City High School. The UEA vice president is a part-time position.
Pinkney succeeds Cache County teacher Roger Donohoe who served from 2016 to 2019.
